{HOLIDAY NOTICE}

Well it's nearly school holidays here in Sth Oz.

After a very hectic past month, I've decided to shut up shop for the next couple of weeks to get some R&R and finish off a few projects.

We'll hopefully head down to the beach house for a couple of days relaxation and some swimming and fishing!

I also have a stall coming up on 14th November at the
Lollipop Markets Christmas Launch

and I need to get a few pieces done.

Some other things that I've been playing with....

In between orders, kids, sport, tractor driving and gophering!! I've been able to sit down and create a couple of pieces that I've had on the to do list.

The PMC3 Charm Bracelet I've been wanting to do for a number of years! I finally bit the bullet and purchased some PMC3 and had a go.....not bad for a first attempt.

Can be a little tricky at first!

The Rhodochrosite I've had sitting on my bench for the past couple of months along with a few other shapes. I've been trying to get the Fine Silver Bezel, but I've had problems with the supplier. So I finally got it done. And not a bad result I must say.

It was a donation for a Breast Cancer Fundraiser Raffle.

Well I've been totally blown over with the amount of orders that I've had in the past couple of weeks. Some people are VERY organised in getting their Mother's Day pressies organised well before the day! Me - NOT. I need to think of what I can get the MIL! She never needs anything as she's always doing something for everyone else.

Hmmmm what to get?

I'm thinking gardening because she LOVES to spend time in the garden, especially with the grandies. Must put my thinking cap on and get organised.

I had so much fun creating this {Bloom Pendant}

I've hand cut the flower, accented and slightly domed it and soldered the centre and hand stamped the initial "n" in my new script stamp set.

Accented with a gorgeous purple swarovski pearl. LOVE IT!

This particular one is for my daughter's friend's birthday....hope she likes it.

Since listing it on my Halle Jay Facebook Page I've had 3 orders already. And another donated to a charity. So 4 orders in a matter of 4 hours!

These little buttons created by Lou at "Buttons by Lou Lou" are simply gorgeous. My favourites are the little Deers set and also the Elegant Black Cats.

Buttons by Lou Lou started in 2008 with the idea of making fabric button hair accessories for Lou's children's friends, her niece and for herself....she had been noticing fabric covered buttons at markets and in shops and thought they were a great idea.

After a lot of trial and error finding the right buttons, the right fabrics, and the right accessory attachments Lou finally had some working products and started giving them away as gifts. Her sister then suggested opening a 'shop' on Etsy.com and that took it all to the next level - and it is great fun.

Now she is making gifts and accessories for people all over the world!

6. I'm married to a farmer, been together since I was 18, were engaged for 4 1/2 years before we married. Now coming up to our 16th wedding anniversary in Jan.

7. I have a fear of snakes....which doesn't help much when you live in the driest continent on earth and on a farm!! Have had to learn very quickly how to use a shovel!! We actually have had two in the house.....ewwwww makes my skin crawl just thinking about it.

WOW....this was a special order for a friend for her nephews' girlfriends and she left it up to me and I'm really thrilled with the end result......TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK

It's called "My Love" Clam Shell and it's super gorgeous...... I've custom stamped 5/8" discs with the names inside with a couple of hearts and on the outside I've stamped a heart and accented it around the edges....MMMmmm gorgeous!!

Netball

WOW....tonight the girls and I are off to Adelaide to watch Australia Vs The World Team in Netball. Should be a great night, as I simply LOVE my netball. We are all travelling together as a club. So it'll be a bus load of 50 - 60 girls...poor bus driver!! WOOHOO C'mon Aussies!!! There will be a large presence of Adelaide Thunderbirds girls playing in both teams....that's right both teams! They are good enough to play for Australia AND The World Team. Really shows that us South Aussies have plenty of talent :) Can you tell that I'm a little excited!

I just love Anika's designs.....go check them out....her cooking lessons look fab!

Well I am a mother of 3 gorgeous kiddies.

1 13, 1 10 & The BOY well he's 5 and keeps me VERY busy....I need eyes everywhere!!

I am married to the most wonderful man who puts up with my forever "ticking over" brain!!

I run my own business from home....here's a bit of a run down:

Halle Jay is a home based business based in the Upper South East of South Australia. I live with my husband and 3 children on our family farm. I offer you gorgeous Oilcloth products, Designer Rugby Tops, Boutique Hair Accessories and Custom Made Sterling Silver Jewellery, available through my Store, mail order, party plan (restricted areas) or a catalogue party. Special orders are my specialty and are most welcome.

My Oilcloth products rang from Totes, bags, nappy bags, aprons, insulated lunch bags, splat mats, swim bags, baby change mats, toiletry bags, hanging bathroom bags, table cloths, car tidy, named Library bags, canvas weekender bags and bunting. My totes are suitable for any occassion, be it a day out shopping, weekends away, a day at the footy or for nappy bags.

Oilcloth is a very versatile fabric. Just wipe over with a warm soapy sponge and dry with a soft cloth. Machine washing is not recommended. It is waterproof as well as stain and soil resistant. It is a printed vinyl bonded and supported with a woven cotton mesh.
